SPAN (Seattle Philanthropic Advisors Network) has its final meeting of 2016 on December 8th at the Seattle Rainier Club.
I encourage all interested to attend this event – tickets are going to sell out fast and it is a fantastic way to perfect your skills in helping to improve our world.
December’s event includes a conversation with Carl and Renee Behnke, a Pacific Northwest power couple, leaders in both the philanthropic and business communities. To learn more or to register, visit the SPAN Seattle website.
I am proud to have been a founding member since SPAN’s inception in 2007 and have been an active board member from the beginning. The organization believes in equipping professionals in all critical areas of philanthropy and providing us with networking opportunities throughout the year.
Don’t forget – register soon, hope to see you there!
From the SPAN website:
The Seattle Philanthropic Advisors Network is a philanthropically oriented network of financial advisors, insurance advisors, wealth managers, attorneys, CPAs, and other professionals who advise clients with charitable intent. We hold three meetings per year featuring conversations with local philanthropists, followed by peer networking luncheons with members and colleagues.
Our Mission Is…
- To provide opportunities for learning about philanthropic practices broadly that relate to improving our communities and society
- To create opportunities to network with other advisors in our local community as a way to support the professional growth of our members
- To provide a local network of philanthropically oriented advisors who can call on each other as resources
